Who is your favorite new-to-you author so far this year?

Hmm. Well, I'm going to be a cheater and pick more than one...

1. Lauren Oliver

Before I Fall is my favorite book I've read this year and practically the first book to make me cry. That says something, I swear. I can't wait to read Lauren's next book Delirium. I'm so so SO jealous of everyone who has an ARC! (*Kicking myself for not being able to go to BEA!* Darn School.)

2. Courtney Summers

Like Lauren, Courtney Summers blew me away with both her books Cracked Up To Be and Some Girls Are. She's already become one of my favorite authors and I'm counting down the days 'til Fall For Anything is released.

3. Richelle Mead

This one is definitely a "new-to-me" author.

I'd heard lots of good things about the Vampire Academy series, but just recently read the first three and am currently DYING for the 4th book (every store near me seems to not have it!). The series is so not what I expected and I love it.
